The Cumean Sybil, inscribed 'VT NON CONFVN/DAR" on open book, fourth quarter of the 19th century, signed verso "Camille", oil on canvas, 51-1/4 x 37-1/2 in.; fine original gilt wood and composition fluted cove-molding frame, with Eastlake incised decoration original stretcher and tacking edge, patches with related retouch verso, some minor flaking at edges, yellowed varnish; frame with abrasions. Condition
Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser’s risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges.
