superposed configuration, 12 gauge, serial number 88475, likely Pointer Grade, 30 in. barrels, chambered for 2-3/4 in., full and improved modified chokes, LOP 14 in., finely engraved receiver with game scenes, trigger guard, forearm latch, and break lever with scroll work, signed by master engraver Louis Vrancken, barrels inscribed " BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST. LOUIS Mo. & MONTREAL P.Q." and "ABERCROMBIE & FITCH CO.", vented rib, ivory bead rear sight, likely pearl front sight, nicely figured walnut forearm and stock with checkering, "JNJ" inscribed medallion under stock, Pachmayr White Line recoil pad, overall 46-3/4 in., comes with Browning case - Note: Please be advised that this firearm falls under current F.F.L. regulations.ÿÿÿ - Provenance: Estate of Paul W. nice tight action, interior of barrels with some white marks otherwise bright and shiny, minimal wear to exterior of barrels with some minor scratches, possibly reblued, minor oxidation to engraving on receiver, forearm in like new condition with exception of minor ding, forearm possibly altered or special order, several minor dings to stock with finish anomalies
Condition
Purchased items not picked up in Richmond by noon on Sunday will then be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
