Chinese, Ming Dynasty, square box with shallow base decorated with dragons below key fret border, conforming foot, six-character Jiajing mark of the period in underglaze blue, mark in period, 2-1/8 x 6-1/4 in. chip to base at one corner and forking to each side, repaired cracks to interior of bowl, missing lid.
