British, 20th century, designed by Sally Tuffin, decorated with an embossed owl resting on a branch embellished with leaves and acorns opposite a crescent moon, on a deep blue glossy ground, stamped "Moorcroft/Made in England", signed with conjoined "WM" and numbered "277/500", 12-1/2 in. - Provenance: From the Estate of the Late Jim VanStory, Weaverville, North Carolina
