British Military, circa 1830, round 8-7/8 in. barrel, .66 caliber smoothbore, faint "I.V.." proof mark on top of barrel, miniscule "WR" stamp near tang, stepped lock plate with engraved cock, both with double line border, sliding safety, plate marked with "CROWN" over "WR" and a small "CROWN" over "ARROW" government mark, semi waterproof pan, walnut stock with stamped "BO" and "ARROW" Board of Ordnance mark on right side behind lock, left side of stock marked "EGG" and "W.." behind lock plate, regulation brass forend, thimble, trigger guard, side plate, and butt cap marked "R1", "F", and "7" which represent regiment, company, and soldier, steel swivel ramrod, overall 15-1/4 in.

metal components with minor dents and abrasions, general handling wear, barrel with scattered light pitting, gray patina, oxidation to right side and front of barrel, rust in bore, lock mechanism with light oxidation, abrasion from cock to pan, brass with light wear and slight dents, stock with lots of handling wear, lots of chips and dings, several areas of fill repair on stock, 2 in. hairline crack at wrist behind lock plate towards tang, large end of ramrod does not fit in barrel
