British, circa 1700, finely figured oyster veneers and marquetry inlays, single dovetailed drawers with oak linings, barley twist legs and turned feet, top with two decorated spandrels centering large basket of marquetry flowers with songbirds, engraved brass escutcheon, 28-1/2 x 37 x 25 in.

good structural integrity, typical veneer cracks, distress, warping, and minor repairs, some pest damage with associated losses and areas of infill at legs, minor patches and repairs at edges and corners of stretchers, brasses possibly original (one with later post, not removed for exam), one small veneer loss at top
