Kensington, Prince Edward Island, mid 20th century, solid body field decoy lacking bent nail legs, sentinel goose with slightly turned head, relief carved wingtips, tack eyes, initials "A. J." painted on base and under tail (partially covered by dealer label), originally was most likely paired with a feeder mate, 21-1/2 x 29 x 9 in.

Condition

age split at base, nail legs not present, chinstrap probably repainted separations at base of neck, top of head and along lateral body line, minor chips and dents, minor paint losses particularly at tip of bill and tail, some shot strikes

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item.
