including American sterling presentation box, rectangle form with rolled foliate and scroll border, top engraved and inscribed "Presented to F. P. CUPPY, the attainment of his 50th Birthday, Oct 8, 1878" (possibly for Fletcher P. Cuppy), marks for Whiting, 7/8 x 3-1/2 x 2-1/4 in.; probably Continental round patch box with engraved floral decoration, monogram "WH/1704", hallmark "M", 3/4 in., 3.48 oz. T. total weight
