Cameroonian, probably Kirdi or Kapsiki style, possibly early 20th century, cast bronze axe with elongated sickle shaped edge, braided rope and swirl decoration, with later leather and wire carrying strap, 15-5/8 x 8-1/2 in.
Condition
scattered surface scratches and areas of discoloration, solder repair at top edge of axe head, some minor casting flaws (possibly as made)
