attributed to Surrey County, Virginia, 18th century, yellow pine throughout, hinged lid with open interior, bracket feet, dry blue paint surface, 24-1/2 x 39 x 20 in.
iron strap hinges are early replacements for original snipe hinges, warping and weathering to top with some nail holes (from being affixed), original feet with scattered repairs (one rear bracket replaced)
