Carved and Gilt Mirror with Sconce
British, probably early 18th century, extremely fine carved and gilt frame, the crest set with two phoenix heads, original mirror plate with sunburst engraving, 21 x 9-1/2 in.. Provenance: Private Collection, Wilson, North Carolina
excellent condition overall, backboard possibly replaced(?), lacking sconce arm, very minor cracks and surface wear to gilding
