New York, 1815-1820, attributed to the workshop Duncan Phyfe, figured top with reeded edges and canted corners, set on finely carved and turned baluster form supports centering an artichoke finial, leaf carved and reeded saber legs with brass casters, later 20th century center section made to match, end sections with old dry surface, 29 x 54 x 30-1/2 in., 86-1/2 in. with leaves

Condition

excellent condition overall, later center section, 20th century made to match, some fading and color variation, especially at center section of top, minor veneer cracks and repairs at top of pedestals, some shrinkage cracks to top of center section, minor repairs at two leg attachments, leaf supports replaced, other scattered minor wear and flaws consistent with age and use

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
