Ground Famille Rose-Decorated Bowl underglaze blue seal mark of Qianlong and of the period, finely enameled with three lemon yellow ground cartouches, each enclosing a pink peony with delicate scrolling surrounds in shades of green, blue, pink and cream with details delineated in black, 4-3/8 in. diameter, one tiny flaw at rim with possible very fine 1/2 in. line of retouch at top of rim, otherwise excellent condition with very light surface wear, base with accession number.; There are no repairs. There is a tiny flaw at the rim. Also on the rim is a small area that becomes fluorescent under blacklight. A ceramics conservator has confirmed that this is not a repair but may be a mineral inclusion in the clay. Please see details and black-light photos online.
