Walnut Side Chair
attributed to Boston, 18th century, the crest with boldly carved shell, period original slip seat (slip seat and front seat rail marked "IV"), shell-carved knees and ball-and-claw feet, block-and-turned stretchers, in rich old possibly original surface, 38-1/2 in.. Condition: excellent condition, early dry surface, minor abrasions and small cracks at front legs (one front leg post with small staples), other typical minor surface wear and flaws.
