Carved and Wrought Iron-Mounted Lift-Top Desk
Italian, late 19th century, the hand-painted lid with Renaissance motifs surrounding a central cartouche with Venus and Cupid opening to a fully painted and fitted interior with five dovetailed drawers and fall front, fully painted on all four sides, carved and parcel gilt trestle-form base with wrought iron stretchers, 40 x 37-1/4 x 21-1/4 in.
