"Kusatsu: From Kusatsu to Yabase, a Bow and Bowstring" (Kusatsu, Kusatsu kara Yabase michi no yumi to tsuru), no. 53 from the woodblock print series "The Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido Road" (Gojusan tsugi meisho zue), series and plate title cartouches to upper right corner, artist's signature, censor and publisher's seal, and date seal "Hare 7" (7th month, 1855) to lower left, oban tate-e, sheet 13-3/4 x 9-5/8 in.; black painted bamboo frame, 19-3/4 x 14-3/4 x 1/2 in.
