Note: While the design of this dressing table is in keeping with Connecticut River Valley examples, the walnut primary wood, family history, and other details suggest it was perhaps made further south.

good structural condition, top has been off and reset (butterfly patches and braces at back, not removed for exam), possibly original brasses (no plugged holes), minor crack to skirt with later brace at back, break and repair at one rear corner of top, top with abrasions and wear, some later color/over spray
