19th century, possibly a boot jack, with rotating lyre, tiger maple throughout, set with engraved copper plaque "Patent Applied For", approximately 29-1/2 x 20-1/2 x 15-1/4 in.; together with a tiger maple trestle form drying or quilt rack, through tenon construction, 29 x 31-3/4 x 12 in.
Provenance: The Ann and Joel Finn Collectiongood condition overall, the lyre with scattered tacking scars at top of boot jack base; drying rack with surface wear and finish losses, minor warping
