English, 19th century, one with mother-of-pearl inlay on cover with Tunbridge marquetry surround, cover with satin-lined interior over paper-lined shelf lifting to expose an open interior, mother-of-pearl escutcheon, original key, 5-3/4 x 10-3/4 in., good condition, minor flaws to veneer surface; with another of similar design, hexagonal center flanked by bands continuing down front panel and forming an escutcheon, blue-satin and silk lined interior compartments with mother-of-pearl star pulls, lower open compartment lined with gold foil and blue paper of the period, original key, 6-1/4 x 12 in., minor veneer losses at base with minor veneer repairs, lacking interior mirror.
