English, Robert Bloor period, circa 1815, two covered tureens, one oval and one round, each with finely painted birds and extensive neoclassical style gilded borders, oval covered tureen with lion's paw feet and rectangular panel of various birds on each side with two additional on cover, 6 in., oval body extensively repaired, handle terminals repaired, wear to painting and gilding, bulbous round tureen with domed cover and sloping foot, octagonal panels on each side of body, two on cover, scenes of colorful birds, 7 in., repaired handle terminals, wear to gilding; two matching plates, each with eight-sided paintings of colorful birds, coordinate with tureens, 8-3/4 in., marks on round tureen and plates for Derby Porcelain Works, red-painted crown, crossed swords and "D", one with small chip on reverse of rim, the other with tiny flake on rim, firing anomalies and worn gilding on both.
