Dining Chairs
East Aurora, New York, early 20th century, both with Roycroft cipher on front rails, one with over-the-rail green leather upholstery with brass tacking, the other chair with inset seat and leather-upholstered cushion, 40-3/4 in. and 43-3/4 in.. Condition: over-the-rail upholstered chair cleaned or possibly refinished, scattered surface retouch especially to splat (splat repinned at bottom), scratches and wear to later leather seat; chair with inset seat with later upholstery with scratches and wear, refinished and with some stains and surface distress, but structurally sound.
