late 19th/early 20th century, each set with needlework-upholstered back and seat, carved beech and walnut frames, 49-3/4 x 26 x 25 in., one with wear and distress to upholstery at center of back and on seat, the other with minor separation in seat upholstery, both frames generally good, scattered minor cracks and wear.
