French, early 19th century, thick cobalt blue borders with burnished gilt designs, hand painted scenes depicting royal chateaus, each marked to base in iron red "CH / de / Dreux", and underglaze blue mark of crossed letters "L" enclosing letter "A", and chateau names "Ch.
