attributed to Nathaniel Dicks, Randolph County, circa 1875-1910, storage jar, yellow glazed interior, partial yellow glazed exterior, impressed line markings at shoulder, applied lug handles at neck just under rim with elongated impressed handle terminals, tooled rim with lid shelf, 8-3/4 in.; larger storage jar, green glazed interior, partial green glazed exterior, banded wavy line decoration around shoulder, applied lug handles at neck just under rim with elongated impressed handle terminals, flat tooled rim with led shelf, 9-1/2 in. tall, with fitted wooden lid

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.

glaze voids and clay body anomalies as made, yellow jar with extensive surface wear, 2 in. loss to handle, 1-1/2 x 1-1/4 in hole in base, two 3/4 in. rim chips, loss of most glaze in interior, heavy wear throughout, green jar with 2 in. and 1-1/2 in. rim chips, various other small chips to rim exterior and interior rim, 3/4 in. glaze chip to one handle, 1 x 1-1/2 in. hole in base, possibly stabilized hairline cracks down both exterior sides of jar from rim at at handles, evident in interior, not evident through base, heavy wear throughout, most glaze remains in interior
