Seigler Trenton S.C." near base, Shaw's Creek, Edgefield District, circa 1880, 11-1/4 in.; light olive green alkaline glaze storage jar with mottled runny brown glaze runs, applied lug handles and ring decoration at shoulder, angled rim with interior rim shelf, stamped "5" below rim, attributed to the John W. Seigler Pottery, Shaw's Creek, Edgefield District, circa 1860, 14-3/4 in.

glaze voids and anomalies as made, G.P. Seigler jar with restored base, 2-3/8 in. rim loss, 1 in. repaired rim chip, other scattered minor glaze abrasions and chips, illumination under black light due to residue, J.W. Seigler piece with 1-1/4 loss to handle, kiln debris loss on body likely as made, 1 in. clay body loss near base edge, other minor abrasions and clay anomalies
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
