Chinese, 18th/19th century, pair of recumbent dogs with green, yellow and purple glaze, exposed teeth, one with puzzle ball, the other with pup, candle cups on backs, 5 x 5-3/4 x 3 in., one candle cup off and retained with pieces for restoration, both pieces with restorations, minor chips on edges; pair of  brown glazed ceramic foo dogs resting on tall plinths with carved decoration, 7-1/4 x 3-1/2 x 2 in., slight wear to edges   Accompanying lot is copy of invoice for the 18th century candlesticks from John Sparks, Ltd, London, dated 1985.
