Japanese, probably Edo period, first one in bold strokes signed Rai Ikan (aka Rai Shunsui, 1746-1816), bordered in mustard brocade, about the beauty of fall and color of the Katsura tree, along with an unsigned box, image area 53 x 21 in., [minor wormage to cloth border, minor staining/foxing]; second of similar form but different artist alluding to cranes and tortoise and long, happy matrimonial life, with remnant old silk border, in newer silk mounting, image area 52 x 21 in., [minor wormage and soiling], (three pieces).
