Signed Documents
including a land grant signed by William Moultrie (1730-1805), who served as the South Carolina governor from 1784-1785, dated October 6, 1784 and signed by Moultrie and a land grant and hand-drawn plat dated October 6, 1794; both regarding 1000 acres granted to the Middleton and Prince families and both framed in matching gilt-decorated wood frames; frames measuring 14-3/4 x 19-1/2 in. and 16-1/2 x 11-1/2 in.
mild foxing to both documents, small amount of loss to the Moultrie document, otherwise very good; not examined out of frame
