Chinese, probably 618-907 AD, comprising: monumental figure of a civil officer in robes, with open mouth and hat with bird form, painted in red and teal pigment, remnants of gilt on seam of hat, 34-1/8 in.; monumental figure of a civil officer in robes, with headdress, painted in red, orange, teal, and gray pigment, 34-1/4 in.
