Pottery Vases Ohio, 1908 and 1938, tall carved vellum with stylized violets, Rookwood "RP" cypher with VIII, shape "1358D", artist's incised signature, "V" for vellum and "X" scratched in bottom, 8-1/2 in., [glaze crazed overall and chipped in three places on side, 3 in. hairline crack starting at rim]; the other decorated in wax matte glaze with apple blossoms on pale yellow ground shading to blue at top and pink at bottom, "RP" cypher with "XXXVIII", "S" and artist's script signature in blue overglaze, 6 in., [good condition].
