Japanese, early 20th century: one with heavily enameled center with cobalt medallions flanked by stylized pinwheels with foo lions, floral ground, scalloped and gilt border, verso with birds and flowers, 2 x 13-5/8 x 10-1/4 in.; deep platter, heavily enameled with stylized flowers, flying phoenixes and a fan panel, scalloped border, verso with floral sprays and four cobalt rings, 2-1/2 x 15-3/4 x 12-1/2 in., first with gilt losses and age cracks to one side.
