Americans circa 1720, 1757, the first by or after Bernard Picart (1673- 1733), Pretre de la Virginie, an engraving after DeBry's interpretation of John White's watercolors of Indian life in Virginia, from Histoire Generale des Ceremonies, etc., 6 x 8-1/4 in. (sight), near fine, not examined out of frame; the second, a plate from Collection of the Dresses of Different Nations, Ancient and Modern, 1757- 1772, entitled Habit of a Nobleman of Virginia, a hand-colored engraved plate, 9-1/2 x 8 in. (sight), very good, some evidence of creasing, not examined out of frame .
