British, 19th century, serpentine form with hinged lid, pull and lock, interior with fitted divider removed and floral lining, felt lined bottom, 13-7/8 x 8-7/8 in.; serpentine form with hinged lid, pull, lock, and shield, interior with fitted divider removed, compass star, and felt lining, felt lined bottom, 13-3/4 x 9 in.

Condition
surface accretion throughout, lid off kilter, cracking and chipping to lid, cracking on sides and back, chipping to wood and loss to lining on interior, slight loss to felt lining on bottom; surface accretion throughout, cracking to wood on front of lid, raising wood on top, loss to wood liner on lid (pieces insides), cracks to front, metal shield raising on right side, large cracks and splitting to wood on back, losses to wood lining on interior, crack on bottom of lid, slight loss to felt lining on interior, loss to felt lining on bottom
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
