British, 18th/19th century, one in burlwood veneer with two compartment interior, with paper lining and two lids with bone handles, 5-1/4 x 8 x 5 in.; the other mahogany with brass handle, plaque reading "Susannah Shepheard 1778", and scrollwork design surrounding lock, interior with three compartments and paper lining, 6-3/4 x 9-1/2 x 5-1/8 in.
