British, late 18th/early 19th century, rectangular satinwood form, brass and metal mounts, hinged lid opening to fitted fabric lined interior containing two satinwood canisters and cut glass mixing bowl, 6 x 11-3/4 x 6 in.; rectangular mahogany form on bracket feet, brass mounts, hinged lid opening to divided interior, 6-1/4 x 9-3/4 x 5-1/2 in. - Provenance: Property from an Important Southern Collection

Condition

satinwood example with some breaks and losses to veneers (especially at corners), scattered surface scratches, surface dirt layer and accretion, some cracks and separations to interior, wear to interior fabric lining, canisters with cracks and separations and losses to interior linings, mixing bowl with scattered scratches and nicks; mahogany example with scattered surface scratches, some cracks and separations, interior probably refitted, some minor chips and losses
Purchased items not picked up within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
