Apothecary Chests
English, early to mid 19th century: one with inset panel on hinged top "Stock London", "H. Jones Dispensing Chemist…Opposite Pelham Crescent, Brompton", fitted interior compartment with mortar and pestle and glass vial over single door with six drawers behind, six partitions, two glass bottles with stoppers, other side with three bottles and stoppers and 12 compartments, brass bail handles at sides, on modern stand with straight legs, 24 in.; the other with lift top, interior with multiple compartments, with assorted clear glass vials, covered containers, mixing tubes over four drawers with bone pulls and five compartments, one with pewter vial, brass bail handles at sides, 10-1/4 in..
