American/British, 19th century, each of rectangular form with hinged lid with mirrored back opening to velvet lined interior with removable fitted and divided tray: one with hexagon and star geometric patterned inlay, square and diamond borders, red velvet interior, 8-1/4 x 14 x 8-3/4 in.; one with octagon and star inlay, diamond borders, heart escutcheon, blue velvet interior, removable mirrored back panel, 7 x 13-1/4 x 9 in. Note: From a private collection representing 18th and 19th century tea caddies and boxes of various designs from America, Britain, Asia and Europe.

each with scattered scratches and edge bumps, some chips, losses, and restorations to inlay, staining and wear to interior linings, possible reveneering and later restorations throughout; one with crack and separation to top panel
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
