British, 18th/19th century, comprising: one with four rows of alphabet and numbers in red and green stitch, panels of florals, birds, houses, and animals, signed within houses "Elizabeth Chalmers/Aged 14 years/1815", sight 16-1/8 x 10-3/4 in., gilt wood frame 18-1/2 x 13-1/4 in.; one with two rows of alphabet and six rows of text, celebrating the birth of "Lucy Forbush", with a date of creation "August the 18 1773", laid on paper with pencil inscription from 1882, 7-5/8 x 9-1/2 in., gilt wood frame 9-1/2 x 11-3/8 in.
