British, late 18th/19th century, satinwood with inlaid shell panel on front and lid, ivory escutcheon with key, inner lid with pull, 4-3/4 x 4-1/2 in.; octagonal, string and barber pole inlay, ivory escutcheon, felt applied to bottom, 3-1/2 x 5-1/2 in.
