British, 18th/19th century, both with rich mellow patinated surfaces, one corner chair with pierced splats, baluster turned supports, needlepoint upholstered slip seat, 31 x 28-1/2 x 25 in., one splat possibly old replacement, one crack at back rail, otherwise excellent condition; one Lancashire spindle back armchair, shaped plank seat, turned legs, 39 in., minor chip at corner of seat, minor surface wear and flaws consistent with age and use .
