Painted and Gilded
France, late 19th century, pink glass with vertical sides arranged in diamond shape, cameo engraved with flowers trimmed in gold, polished pontil, 7-1/4 in.; with rectangular-form vase with purple and green mottled base glass cameo engraved with painted and gilded flowers and leaves with motto [Comme la plume au vent] (like a feather in the wind), polished pontil, 4-3/4 in., both signed in gold on bottom "Daum/Nancy" with Cross of Lorraine,
both in good condition, very slight wear to gilded rims
