North Carolina, each with runny brown alkaline glaze, one stamped "5" below and beside one of two lug handles, [three firing cracks at rim, repair on bottom, chips to glaze and base edge;] the other stamped "4", [hairline crack at rim, chip on base edge],17-1/4 in. and 18-1/2 in., both attributed to Burlon Craig, Vale, North Carolina both with glaze voids and anomalies as made.
