from Hortus Eystettensis, Nuremberg, 1713 edition with text verso, printed circa 1750, hand-colored engravings on fibrous laid paper with 28 mm chain and lacking watermark: Paonia mas flore incar / nato., plate 18-3/4 x 15-5/8 in., sheet 20-1/8 x 16-1/2 in.; Phalangium Alobrogi, / cum maius., plate 18-7/8 x 15-5/8 in., sheet 20-3/8 x 16-1/2 in.; matching gilt wood frames, with matching French mats, 30-1/4 x 26-3/4 x 1 in.

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.

hinged in, toning, printing creases, sheets trimmed, some small pin sized holes, text bleed, light foxing, "Paeoina" with tape staining at top, water stain at bottom, printing crease, tear upper left at printing crease, "Phalangium" vertical crease right, loss and small tears lower left corner, restorations top left corner, vertical creasing left, stain lower right; frames with abrasions
