28 in. straight blade with half length fuller, marked at ricasso with crowned head facing left and (opposite side) "WH H&S" crudely etched, blade engraved with blue and gilt accents: foliate, flags, cannon, reeded ivory grip with eagle pommel and wreath decorated knucklebow, accompanying engraved brass scabbard marked "Horstmann" and "423"; 30 in. straight blade with single fuller, marked at top of guard "F.W. Wildmann/Philada" inside cartouche, blade engraved with panoply of arms and flags, red wool washer, detailed brass hilt with copper wire wrapped grip, eagle pommel, and knucklebow, engraved brass scabbard with same Wildmann stamp, also "E Pluribus Unum" and heraldic eagle
