Two plates after Giovanni Battista Fontana (1524-1587), from Dominicus Custos’, Armamentarium Heroicum,1601, the world’s first museum catalog: Albert III, Margrave of Brandenburg and Philip III "the Good" (1396-1467). Duke of Burgundy (1419-1467), woodcut, etching, and engraving, text verso, sight 16-3/4 x 11-1/2 in.; matching black lacquer and gilt wood frames with neoclassical brass applied decoration, 22-1/2 x 17-1/8 in.
