France, late 19th century, each decorated in the center with various persons of Napoleonic Era, including Napoleon I, Pauline Bonaparte, Mlle de la Sabliere, Mme de Maintenon, Mme Recamier, Marie Louise and others, decal-decorated with some hand enameling after portraits by Muville, lacy gold transfer print borders on cobalt blue, black mark of Manufacture Imperiale de Sevres with eagle, red mark DORIA / SEVRES flanking N with a crown and red mark M. Imple de Sèvres, 9-1/2 in. some firing anomalies, gilt borders and decals show slight wear and scratches . Provenance: Private Collection
