Note: The Expeditionary Series photographs are self-portraits (also titled East Meets West), that depict the artist in front of generally recognizable destinations wearing his Mao suit and mirrored sun glasses. Mr. Chi was a well known member of the downtown NY art scene he chronicled, that included Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf, Julian Schnabel, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol.
