Smith, New York: The Derrydale Press, 1929, one of 50 large paper copies, with two hand-colored plates and title vignette, the first book on fishing to be published in the United States, original half green morocco and paper boards, five raised bands, gilt lettered and decorated spine, yapped edges, top edge gilt, many pages uncut, 10-1/8 x 6-5/8 in. some rubbing at the extremities otherwise near fine; a nice copy of a fairly uncommon edition of this book.
