French, early 20th century, painted and stenciled grape hod, "CHATEAU DOISY-VEDRINGS GRAND CRUX CLASSE IN 1855" over a shield dated 1892 and depicting a French chateau and "Pierre Casteia/Parsac France/Sauternes", verso hung with two leather straps, 25 x 23-1/2 x 15-1/4 in., rust with some paint and decoration losses, some corrosion, leather straps worn; together with a glass and polished pewter needle thermometer with Celsius and Fahrenheit measure, white marker in glass tube with ball-form cap, 36-1/2 in., corrosion to bottom of needle and ball top .
