Fort Edward and Elmira, New York, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, mid-19th century, including a 3-gallon jug with cobalt-blue flower, leaves and dots, impressed on shoulder "HUXSTUN, OTTMAN & CO/FORT EDWARD. N. Y./3", 15-3/4 in., [chips around opening, decoration shows some abrasion, generally darkened]; batter jug covered with Albany slip, bail handle with turned wood grip, strap handle on side opposite spout, stamped on shoulder "E.W.FARRINGTON/ELMIRA N.Y./3", 7-1/2 in., [glaze worn around top, several chips on edge of spout]; 1-gallon jug with blue stenciled ornament on front and blue swipes on handle terminals, impressed on shoulder "F.H. COWDEN/HARRISBURG", 11 in. [kiln kiss with dependent stain, crooked neck]. Condition: all with anomalies as made. Provenance: Private South Carolina Collection
